Each Christmas Eve, when I was young, my family would scoot us little ones upstairs while they put out Christmas presents. My grandfather would come up with us and keep us occupied with zany stories. Following in his footsteps, I decided to craft an alternative Christmas legend that explores who Santa Claus was through a more genre-satisfying lens.
